British liberals, being forever about four years downstream of Will Stancil, have begun to rail against the perceived pro-Americanism of the British right on the grounds that it is unpatriotic. As the bard muses:
“This might be the nostalgia of middle-age kicking in, but nationalism used to be about one’s own nation: its particular culture and interests. To be a Tory jingo was to be at least a mild anti-American, for it was the US that had superseded the British empire and crowded out peculiar national tastes and habits with perhaps the first truly global culture. This Evelyn Waugh-ism was snobbish and misguided, but it was internally consistent. More than that, it was self-respecting.”
It is vaguely amusing to see the political left being to adopt the cliches of the right circa 2009 as power slips decisively out of their hands. “The Left are the real racists!” is now “The Right are the real traitors!”. Trying to defend a system which rapaciously extracts wealth from the native population while dumping foreign sex offenders adjacent to their dwellings on the grounds of patriotism is borderline comical as well as being historically illiterate.
The Human Rights regime which we have suffered since the conclusion of the Second World War is akin, in so many ways, to Communism. Would Ganesh describe the Russian dissidents who co-operated with the West to bring down the Soviet Union as unpatriotic? Solzhenitsyn, as popular example, was a reactionary, who believed that Russia’s spiritual roots had been corrupted by the Soviet system. He spent his writing career doing the contemporary equivalent of a one-man Indian ‘Europe has fallen’ slop account broadcasting the privations of life behind the Iron curtain to a Western audience. Russian dissidents effectively weaponized their international audience to force successive US administrations to pressure the Soviet Union on respecting the Helsinki accords which protected, amongst other things, ‘freedom of thought’. When we call upon Trump to batter Starmer over the Online Safety Act, it is from this tradition that we draw.
The destruction of the Soviet Union was a patriotic project which foreshadows what must happen in Britain, as the dragon has alluded to – the behaviour of Chechnyan gangs in Moscow during the 1980s and early 90s was similar to that of Pakistanis in modern Britain (sexual crimes, drug trafficking). When you look at George Abaraonye prance about the Oxford Union in his durag and tracksuit the sensation is the same that Solzhenitsyn would have felt seeing the Hammer and Sickle billowing over a bust of Lenin in Kazan cathedral.
It is entirely intellectually coherent to be both patriotic and opposed to the illegitimate Starmer regime. In fact, this is the only coherent position. The alternative espoused by the likes of Sunder Katwala is to be patriotic to a set of abstract values like ‘multiculturalism’ and ‘sportstmanship’ while implicitly permitting the destruction of the country through mass immigration. This patriotism has no bearing on Britain as a historic entity, a people and a place. It actively denigrates the only true British Value which is Excellence.
Merit. The subordination of other people, the assertion of ‘Effortless Superiority’. Bigoted, Protestant, piratical. Britain is Enoch Powell completing his Greek Prose examination in two different translations in half of his allotted time. Britain is Tolkein holding debates in fluent Gothic as a sixth-former. It is Macaulay reciting Paradise Lost from memory backwards as an eighteen-year-old to his tutors at Trinity.
It is to this Britain that I owe any patriotic sentiment. To protect it’s modern incarnation, where the state broadcasting channel instructs you to enjoy women’s football, isn’t patriotic. It’s treasonous.
In so many respects, a liberation of Britain from the yoke of woke is dependent on having a friendly American administration. The first and most pressing aspect of this, regarding the Farage platform, is withdrawal from the ECHR. The objection that leaving the ECHR could jeopardise the Good Friday Agreement is not groundless. I would tear the rotten treaty to shreds in a heartbeat and smother Ulster with the Red hand, but I can see that an outbreak of terror and subsequent state reprisals, followed by a Cartels style intervention into the Republic would be a distraction from the mass deportations project beginning 2029 (even if it would be cathartic).
A broach of the ECHR will require some form of renegotiation which will draw in European countries. This would have been impossible with Joe ‘Irish’ Biden in the Whitehouse, or any other Democrat. With Trump, who detests Ireland for its globalist thieving vis corporation tax, it would be very simple. Britain could withdraw from the convention and tell whichever Fine/Fianna bandit is occupying Dublin council that the US will bring in crippling sanctions if they do not assent to a new treaty with the ECHR obligation removed within a working day. They will cave immediately, and the Continental despots will watch on hopelessly.
This solves immigration and crime (Nightingale prisons can only be built outside of the ECHR because of various legal rights prisoners have). The other central plank that Farage must tackle regarding the cost of living will be much easier if the US backstops the British economy to aver Market Meltdowns, as was expanded on at length in this piece which was written immediately after the election of Donald Trump. I suspect that Farage understands how important the Trump Administration is to his goals when in government, which is why he has taken to predicting a 2027 general election.
“Already they are facing the threat of Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana … the left of Labour will rear its voice and we are about to witness a split in Labour, too … I think there is every chance now of a general election happening in 2027 and we must be ready.”
There is probably an element of motivated reasoning here, although if Burnham does replace Starmer expect an early election. Burnham’s soft-left Cabinet will fail to pass a budget when he is forced to betray his promises to tack left once the fiscal crisis deepens and he is made to reckon with reality. At that point it is certain to collapse. So there is still a path to a Farage/Trump special relationship. If the Republicans lose power in 2028 Farage will be stuck in much the same way that Starmer is with Trump now, being prevented by diplomatic and financial heft of the bigger power from scouring his enemies from the body-politic.
That our domestic politics hinges so much on the government of a foreign power, brought to power in an election that we have no vote in, does call attention to the ridiculousness of dividing European peoples into separate polities.
The worst sin of European secessionists of all stripes, Irish nationalists, Catalan, the Catholic Scottish, is to sequester talented young men of talent into 5-6 million people cattle pens from which they have no springboard to rise to global prominence and power.
How many guiltless Cromwells will be buried in petty despotisms like Canada because the highest they could have risen was Ottawa?
My heart weeps as it bleeds, considering such waste.
The abolition of social housing to enable talented people to move to London; the right to selective education to give them the means – and finally – the creation of Airstrip One. One people with one passport. A European Ummah. These are the necessary preconditions to Meritocracy. The European will not fulfil his historic destiny of conquering the Universe until he can put tedious national loyalties to rest; as was the case with the Scottish and English afore they conquered the world. This has been the dream of every great Man in history, be it Caesar, Charlemagne or Napoleon.
And so it would be a dereliction of Donald Trump’s historic role to look only within the United States. Woke is everywhere, Mr President. Fail to confront it in Britain and you will turn us into a global hub for terrorists, they will escape your clutches as the Taliban evaded George Bush by escaping to Pakistan; another Kunduz airlift. The Trump administration must begin issuing Interpol notices for British leftists who have mocked the death of Charlie Kirk, and must expand it’s RICO interrogation crackdowns to leftist NGOs in Britain and the charitable trusts which support them.
There is clear precedent for this during the war on Islamic terror. The US government essentially forced the Charity Commission to investigate the Palestinian Relief and Development fund after 9/11. What’s more, there is precedent in the other direction. NORAID, set up to channel Irish American money into the Provisional IRA, was cracked down on by the US Justice Department in the 1980s in part because of conversations between Thatcher and Reagan.
Britain’s extraordinary libel laws being what they are, we are unable to disclose the thousands of names and organisations we have collected for this purpose. But if anybody from the US State Department is reading, you can reach us at jaccusepaper@gmail.com.
God bless you. And may God bless the United States of America.
