The funny thing is that Lenny Henry of all people did a regular sketch like this in the mid 00's. His character would end up playing babies in adverts for nappies and other absurdities by going off at interviewers "it's because I'm black, isn't it?". He also had sketches mocking the madness and corruption of various African leaders. What would happen would be that a White man from some international body would hand over money on conditions that it was invested in something intelligent, and then the black leader would take the money and invest it on something completely mad. This isn't a defence of Lenny Henry, by the way, but rather something else to condemn Mitchell and Webb by.
