You bring up some great points. As an American, I acknowledge my country has had plenty of issues, and you’re 100% correct that the expanse of the continent we’re on allows most of us to get away from or ignore them or resorting to violence (for which we are ridiculously well-armed.)

That being said, most of us who recoil at the events going on in Britain are doing so out of genuine care for fellow ethnic British, not ignorant spite for them. My paternal ancestry goes back to the Galloways of lowland Scotland and I think of that when I read of what’s happening; how my forefathers must be rolling over in their graves, and what they would have done had they been alive and in the know. Thankfully the American people have elected a government and set in motion a movement that is skeptical at the very best to the British *leadership* class, and may pressure them cease some of their worst excesses.

Good luck and God bless from across the pond.

"America is far from being immunised from these crimes."

True. Get ALL of it out in the open. If the disclosure and scandal starts in Britain, OK. It does not need to stay there. Drag all of it out into the open, everywhere.
