I assume it is obvious to everyone this will not work, and for disappointed true believers the predictable outcome is conversion to ‘Eastern Orthodoxy’ or Islam, not the noble faith as practised in Bosnia or Iran, but of the rubber dinghy rapids variety.' How exactly are you comparing Lowe and Restore to the Taliban with a straight face? This is so far from an accurate representation of what Restore is that I struggle to see where you are coming from. This is written by a contributor so I cannot speak on their behalf, however, it is true that people drawn from the Lotus Eaters network believe in a very sharp turn towards social conservatism (banning abortion, pornography, extra-marital sex etc).
